Impact on My Life
School work is very dificult, but they provided a Flipper port with Jordy Glasses, CCTV and large print books for home. Scott is also learning Braille. The only thing that seems to bother him is the fact that driving may not be in his future, and he can't play baseball.
Positive Effects
None really, other than now that we know what he has we can deal with. We do take comfort in knowing that they expect him to always have some vision, even though it may be poor.
Adaptations
CCTV, Flipper port with Jordy Glasses, Dome Magnifier and large print books.

More About Me
Scott is a very happy-go-lucky child. His diagnosis so far has been worse on his parents than him. For the most part he does not let this disease get him down. At the present time his only worry is that he may not be able to drive and some sports he just cannot play.
