Prognosis
Total central vision loss in left eye. 20/70 in right eye. Doctor doesn't think my right eye will get to the point of my left eye. Since my symptoms presented themselves late in my teens and in my early 20's, no one is sure how bad my vision will become.
Family History
No family history of macular deeneration.
Impact On Your Life
I limit my driving to daytime only and don't drive far distances. I am a teacher, so I have to have some technology available to help me read small text.
Employment
Work full time as a middle/high school learning suport teacher
