Family History
Maternal grandmother had a detached retina in one eye after
cataract surgery. Have a maternal uncle with 3 CNV's over 30 year
period.
Impact on My Life
Learned to eat better and take herbal supplements, vitamins, and
minerals, walked to ease depression, had recreational therapy
through gardening, stimulated other senses with pleasing music and
fragrances. Earned a second teaching certificate and served as a
consultant on a revised reading book. Cried about everything
periodically. I even had wind therapy. Now I am team teaching with
with a legally blind visually challenged person.
