Prognosis
Definite change in vision and starting to progress more rapidly. Losing central vision, but still able to drive and such. Reading a book is getting more and more difficult.
Impact On Your Life
I love to read, and this is getting harder to do. I can adjust the setting somewhat on the computer. I can still drive at this point and get around. I love to knit and crochet and sew and such. I love to play with my grandchild and my dogs. It saddens me to think what if I can't see that beautiful little face anymore? Who is going to take care of me?
Positive Effects
Not much positive about it.
Employment
I've been a nurse for 30 years, and I can't read the tiny print on the labels anymore. I'm scared. I've gone into home nursing, which is less stressful, but an extreme cut in pay.
More About Me
I go to church on Sundays and Wednesdays. like to sing. I play the violin, banjo, guitar,cello and mandolin. Very friendly by nature. I like to make new friends. Don't drink or smoke. I would love to hear from others, as would my sisters.
