Treatment
At this point I am taking eye vitamins and wearing better sunglasses. Unfortunately those are the only two things that were recommended to me by my doctor.
Prognosis or Current State of
Vision
I am actually going to a new retina specialist today for a second opinion, and to see if he has another course of treatment that I could be following.
Family History
My grandma has some retinal degeneration. Apparently it skips a generation, because my mom has perfect vision.
Impact on My Life
I recently went to the DMV to renew my driver's license. They will not renew it until I can get a doctor's note saying that I am capable of driving. I was pretty upset. I know I can see fine driving during the day and I know I need to be careful at night.
