Impact on My Life
Devastating at first. Not so bad now that its stable. Didn't drive or go much so not bothered by that.

Positive Effects
Joined the MD list. Heard of Talking Books.

Adaptations
Adapted by listening to the Talking Books,Using Magnifying glass to do the bills etc. Also use a large arm Magnifying and light for bigger jobs. I cannot read magazines or newspaper without magnification. Paper looks dirty gray and print is a darker dirty gray. I use humor to help me adapt. If someone enjoys my humor It helps me even more. Its scary to be serious ...throws me into depression a lot of the time.

Working
No. Just play on puter.

More About Me
I love my computer but sure miss reading computer magazines. Some are on the net which is great. I worry about losing the center of my dry eye when or if it turns wet.

I am a mother and a grandmother. I have 3 grand kids. The oldest will be 18 this year. Eeek! Son says no more babies. (sniff)
