Family History
Great Grandma had cataracts, 11-year-old cousin with one cataract,
two cousins with eye problems on other side of Dad's family, uncle
with MD.
Impact on My Life
Mine (Mom) very devasting. Dawn does fine with this. So far, she
is an A and B student.
Positive Effects
Close to God! Stubborn, and doesn't give up easily.
Adaptations
Lighting, large print books, bifocal lenses.
More About Me
Dawn is in the 3rd grade. She is a polite, mature young lady. At
this point, she is doing fine, considering. She gets emotional when
kids make fun of her polarized, wrap-around glasses. She deals with
it better than I, and we both have our good and bad days. She has a
10-year-old sister who helps us through, also. All of the info that
MD Support offers is greatly appreciated. Thank you so
