Impact On Your Life
Turned me into a real life Charlie Brown, defiant, yet a perservering character. Amongst the battles, struggles and obstacles, I have prevailed by being audacious, persistent, and unconventional. Because of unique nature of Stargardt's, my life is one of balancing between having my situation understood as a disabiity, yet not openly or readily viewed as one.

Positive Effects
Learned to avoid the negatives.

Adaptations
Enhanced computer system with Zoomtext, magnifiers for reading, and udpated lighting.

Employment
Recently retired after careers in five different fileds wich included healthcare management, retail management, public relatios, education administration, and mediation. Curretly working as a writer with two published books and numerous articles. Also dabble in furniture restoration and woodcarving.

More About Me
My half century of dealing with Stargardts has now been chronicled in a book titled "Glimpse". This book is a wiseacre anthology about dashing and crasing through adversity. It profiles the extraordinary measure, which some of us take, just for the sake of fitting in.
