Diagnosis: Wet MD in right eye, dry MD in left.

Eyes Affected: Both

Eye Color: Green

Age at Diagnosis: 71

Visual Acuity:

Treatment: The whole nine yards.

Prognosis or Current State of Vision: Bleeding too close to center, so, because I can still use my right eye, we will just wait and see.

Family History: No known vision problems.

Impact on My Life: Still going wide open.

Positive Effects: Planning to keep going like that Eveready bunny: keep going--keep going.

Adaptations: Keeping sun glasses handy for those bright sunny days. Did away with night driving. Updating my putter for its long life head. Making the home place fall proof. Learning how to except a helping hand.

Working: Director of our small town library working part time helping patrons with research work and students with home work assignments. Do all letter writing and grant request bookkeeping and ordering of books and material.. I have given up helping the staff shelve return books because of the poor lighting system.in general I keep up with all work required of a librarian and love every min. of it. I plan to stay active in the work force til my battery runs dead.

More About Me: This coming June, I will be 74 years young, Living with my 82-year-old lifetime mate of 54 years. I have four married children (two boys, two girls), and, at last count, I had ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Love reading, gardening, canning, sewing, painting, and wood craft. I love the Lord and the Baptist church I attend. I have taken on as family all the wonderful helpful members of this MD list. I visit you every day on our email site. I laugh with you, and cry with you, and feel your pain. I am proud to be a part of all your lives.
