More About Me
I am single all my life, and my work has had me on the road. Prior to retiring at ag 65, I was a wine and spirits agent with a very high profile portfolio. I have been in the management employment situation for over 30 years. Being with people is very important to me, and to regain my independenance is very import. Since being diagnosed, I have done an overload of research on many forms of low vision, and what I have found is that there are very few support groups to connect with. I live in Canada and they are non existant. I am tire of reading about people being told to go home - go blind there is nothing more that can be done. I understand the degenerative eye conditions are not to be cured, but there are many things to help regain visual acuity in the alternate medical field. There are companies in the U.S that have prescription glasses that have had great success regaining some visual acuity and letting an individual regain independence. There are 31 states that have special technologies that will help those with MD regain driving privileges. There is a whole host of information out there that will help those with degenerative eye disorders. This ramble is over for now.

Should you wish to contact me, I can be contacted on Skype - silverfoxbgw or by e mailing me at focusontheye@accesscom.ca

I look for to hearing from all interested people.
